6/23/2023 0 Comments New adobe photoshopI'm very impressed by what Adobe has packed in to the Fix app. It's not a huge deal, as it's free to sign up for an Adobe CC account but unless you also subscribe to the Creative Cloud service, there's not a lot of added value to having to sign in. The only downside I've found is that you're required to sign up for an Adobe Creative Cloud account. I think it's possible to get a professional-looking picture from the app that will stand up to higher resolutions but with the amount of time and effort you would have to put in, you might as well switch to a desktop application at that point. If I pull the picture up full size on my 27-inch high-res monitor, I can see all the clumsy brushstrokes I made. In the end I had a picture that was markedly improved from the original and only took a few minutes of playing around (and that's with me trying and rejecting several edits). The caveat being, the picture looks good on mobile and lower-resolution devices. Before and After (Photo by Anthony Karcz)
